NANOFLAM EI120+12A+European Gray Laminated Glass

NANOFLAM EI120+12A+European Gray Laminated Glass combines two-hour fire resistance, a 12A insulated cavity and gray laminated glazing for fire-safe architectural projects.

NANOFLAM EI120+12A+European Gray Laminated Glass

NANOFLAM EI120+12A+European Gray Laminated Glass is a two-hour fire-rated insulated tinted glass designed for projects that require fire safety, thermal separation and a coordinated gray architectural appearance. The unit combines a NANOFLAM EI120 fire-resistant pane, a 12A insulated cavity and a European gray laminated outer pane in one glazing assembly.

The EI120 fire-resistant glass component is designed to provide integrity and insulation for up to 120 minutes when used within a compatible, approved glazing system. The European gray laminated glass gives the unit a refined tinted appearance while the insulated construction supports exterior and interior applications where a multi-functional glass build-up is required.

Product Structure

Fire-resistant pane

The NANOFLAM EI120 pane forms the fire-protection side of the glazing unit. The pane must be installed with the specified frame, fire-resistant seals, setting blocks and glazing accessories required by the approved system.

12A insulated cavity

The 12A cavity separates the fire-resistant pane from the European gray laminated pane. The cavity and edge-sealing construction are produced as an insulating glass unit according to the approved project configuration.

European gray laminated pane

The gray laminated outer pane provides the selected architectural color and a laminated safety construction. The final shade should be approved using a physical sample because perceived color can change with glass thickness, lighting, background and installation angle.

Key Product Benefits

Two-hour fire protection

The EI120 configuration is intended for projects that require 120-minute integrity and insulation performance within a tested or approved complete glazing system.

Insulated and tinted construction

The 12A cavity and European gray laminated pane combine fire performance with an insulated, colored glass appearance suitable for coordinated building elevations and glazed openings.

Project-specific production

Glass dimensions are manufactured according to approved drawings. Panel size, support conditions, frame type, edge clearance, sealant system and installation orientation must be reviewed before production.

2 hour fire rated IGU

Recommended Applications

NANOFLAM EI120+12A+European Gray Laminated Glass can be considered for fire-rated façade areas, glazed windows, curtain-wall openings, entrance zones, commercial buildings, public buildings and other locations where EI120 fire performance and a gray glass appearance are required. Final suitability depends on the applicable code, certification scope and complete framing system.

Information Required for Quotation

Please provide the glass dimensions, quantity, required fire classification, project standard, frame system, installation location, indoor or outdoor exposure, edge construction and target gray color sample. Drawings should clearly distinguish the rough opening size, frame size and final glass size.

System and Installation Notes

Fire-rated glass performance depends on the complete system rather than the glass alone. Frames, glazing beads, gaskets, fire-resistant seals, setting blocks, fixing methods and perimeter joints must follow the approved system design. The glass should be handled vertically, protected at all edges and installed by an experienced glazing team.

For exterior applications, the insulating glass edge seal, drainage, exposure direction and surrounding façade design should be confirmed before production. A physical gray glass sample is recommended for color approval before the full order is released.
