Semicircular NANOFLAM EI60 Fire-Resistant Glass
Semicircular NANOFLAM EI60 Fire-Resistant Glass combines a custom half-round profile with 60-minute integrity and insulation performance for approved fire-rated glazing systems.
Semicircular NANOFLAM EI60 Fire-Resistant Glass
Semicircular NANOFLAM EI60 Fire-Resistant Glass is a custom-shaped transparent fire-rated glazing product for architectural openings that require a half-round profile and one-hour fire protection. The glass is manufactured according to approved project drawings so that the straight base, curved top, radius and overall dimensions match the intended framing system.
The EI60 classification is intended to provide integrity and insulation for up to 60 minutes when the glass is installed as part of a compatible, tested or approved complete glazing system. Final performance depends on the frame, glazing beads, seals, setting blocks, fixings, edge clearances and installation method specified for the project.

Product Overview
The semicircular profile supports curved architectural designs while maintaining a clear glazed opening. It can be considered for fire-rated windows, fanlights, feature partitions, entrance areas and other custom openings where a standard rectangular panel does not fit the design.
Each panel is produced to a confirmed drawing. The drawing should define the overall width and height, base length, arc height, radius, glass orientation, edge finish and any required holes or notches. A full-size template may be requested for complex geometry or where site dimensions require additional verification.
Fire Performance
EI60 fire classification
NANOFLAM EI60 glass is designed for 60-minute integrity and insulation performance within the scope of the applicable approved glazing system. The system must limit the passage of flames and hot gases while restricting heat transfer to the non-fire side for the rated period.
Complete system responsibility
Fire resistance cannot be determined by the glass alone. The frame material, glass retention, fire-resistant seals, glazing accessories, fixing arrangement and surrounding construction must correspond to the tested or approved configuration.

Key Product Benefits
Custom half-round geometry
The curved top and straight base allow the glazing to follow semicircular openings without dividing the design into several rectangular pieces. This supports a cleaner visual result and simplifies coordination with custom frames.
One-hour fire protection
The EI60 configuration supports projects that require 60-minute integrity and insulation performance when it is used with the approved frame and installation components.
Project-based manufacturing
Panel dimensions are produced from reviewed drawings. Geometry checks before production help reduce the risk of incorrect radius, reversed orientation, unsuitable edge clearance or mismatch between the glass and frame.
Typical Applications
Semicircular NANOFLAM EI60 Fire-Resistant Glass can be used in fire-rated interior windows, arched fanlights above doors, decorative partition openings, entrance features, public buildings, commercial interiors and other locations where a curved transparent fire barrier is required.
The final application must remain within the certification scope and local code requirements. Exterior exposure, impact safety requirements, acoustic performance, insulation construction and decorative finishes should be reviewed separately when they form part of the project specification.

Design Information Required
Please provide the overall width, overall height, straight base dimension, arc height, radius, glass thickness requirement, quantity, fire classification, frame type and installation location. Drawings should identify the fire-exposed side, indoor or outdoor exposure and any required holes, cut-outs or notches.
For accurate shape control, the radius and center point should be dimensioned rather than inferred from a photograph. A full-size CAD file or physical template may be required when the opening is existing, asymmetric or difficult to measure.
Installation and System Notes
The glass must be transported and handled vertically with full edge protection. Setting blocks, glazing beads, gaskets, fire-resistant sealants, perimeter joints and mechanical fixings must follow the approved system design. Curved edges should not be forced into an incorrectly sized frame because concentrated contact can damage the glass or compromise the required clearances.
Site teams should verify the frame opening before installation and protect all processed edges from impact. Any discrepancy between the approved drawing and the finished opening should be resolved before the panel is installed.
Quality and Handling
Production inspection should confirm the overall dimensions, radius, arc symmetry, edge condition, surface quality and labeling. The panel should remain protected during storage and transportation, and it should be kept dry, upright and securely supported until installation.
Request a Project Review
Send PYRONANO the project drawings, required EI60 classification, panel schedule, frame information and site conditions. The technical team can review the semicircular NANOFLAM EI60 glass geometry and system requirements before quotation and production.
